Well it does for the first few days and then you have to stick your face into it to get the full Christmas smell. I always feel a little sad knowing that it is dying and each time I water it I send a little prayer of gratitude to its tree spirit. When the kids are grown I think we will buy a fake one.
I didn't realize you cut them yourselves! Your home must smell so wonderful all season long!
