Walks with my Sister

My wonderful sister lives far away from me

and we see each other so seldom.

But when we do

it's like we were girls again 

and there is never enough time in the day for all the things

we must say and do to make up for lost time.

Luckily we both love walks

and we can talk and talk and talk and talk.

These are three of her six children.

They are just as strong and good and talented as she is.

My sister is a wonderful mother, a dear sister

and my friend.
