My Garden

We have had a bountiful harvest from our garden this year,
and it is all so bursting with goodness.
Every time I pop a little tomato in my mouth
it tastes just like sunshine to me.
I've made so many things trying to use up all my vegetable such as
tomato soup, tomato and mozzarella salad,
baked zucchini with parmesan,
zucchini bread, V8 juice,
vegetable fetticini and vegetable lasagna,
and the plants are still producing.
(I better learn to can...
hint, hint, Lisa)
I intend to make a garden journal
to note what I have learned,
and plan next years garden very carefully
avoiding all the mistakes I made this year.
There is nothing like working outside
and getting your hands in the soil.
Even when buying produce seems more economical at times,
nothing can replace the satisfaction
of picking a beautiful little basket of bright red cherry tomatoes.
Thank you, sweet Father in Heaven, for this amazing earth!
It's surely is yet another evidence of your love for us all.

  1. I love this! I am so happy for you! I can't believe so much came from such a compact little garden. I thought that first photo was something you grabbed from the internet.
